Lynn and I have worked together for a year and 9 months or so at this point. When I first started working with her, I had just been through hurricane Helene, I was struggling with a mid-manic episode, with housing insecurity, a relationship with an alcoholic, and frequent to constant nervous system dysregulation. Since we've been working together, I removed myself from that relationship with her support.  I also suffered a massive energetic, motivational, and mood collapse. This was followed by an extensive period of depression and the eventual slow slog back toward normalcy. Lynn has seen and held me through this entire wave. When I was up, she supported me in grounding. When I was down, she brought consistent love, compassion, and encouragement. She also supported me through the arc of a relationship that was leaps and bounds ahead of previous ones, and also through its inevitable dissolution and helped me shift perspective that it wasn't quite right and that I can call in something of greater alignment.

Lynn gives regular encouragement to dream and imagine what I want to call in for a better future for myself in our sessions. Lynn also has great knowledge of the nervous system and regularly brings that into our time together. I've now found stable housing, maintained employment for over a year, and have slowly, slowly gotten myself out of a deep, dark hole with Lynn by my side. Lynn shows up consistently and has been in support of repatterning of attachment in a secure direction both with her and others in my life. She has helped me name and process challenging familial relational dynamics and their continued impact on my life today. Lynn knows how to take accountability and always apologizes and invests in repair when very human mistakes are made. She also gives grace and compassion when my human experience gets in the way of me showing up in the best way or at all. With Lynn, my capacity for self care and self trust, and ability to believe in resilience have grown. And, Lynn's ability to bring in ideas about mythos and larger story arcs help remind me that I'm not so alone and am having a very human experience.

I would absolutely recommend working with Lynn to anyone seeking support with the nervous system, attachment dynamics, parts work, dreaming, personal storytelling, or really anyone who needs consistent, loving support in their lives.

I’ve been a counselor for four+ years and over the past year or so I’ve worked with Lynn to consult on challenging client cases. She is soulful and imaginative and rooted in research. She listens with her whole being. Her empathy nourishes and nurtures and I always leave our sessions with great new resources to pursue, and a general feeling of ‘I’ve got this!'

I’ve had skepticism toward the coaching world for a while now, but after working with Lynn I’m convinced that in any profession there are those that embody the essence of the role—i.e. Coach, Mentor, Ally, Guide—the one who sees the jewel in you and waters you when you’re wilted and helps you believe in possibility… suddenly things that felt like obstacles before are now distant shapes in the rearview mirror.

I whole heartedly recommend Lynn to other therapists, coaches, facilitators, creatives, etc. If you’ve been looking for someone distinct, someone who stands out from the crowd of helpers—Lynn is your gal. She sees straight into the heart of the matter and shoots the tiniest little love dart right into the place that needs it most. But watch out. No toeing the line with this one…be ready to get right with your gods and pick up the reigns of the story you’ve been needing to write your whole damn life.

Lynn understands the world of loss and is real, raw and not afraid to go into the pain of what it is to be human. Then she comes into the beauty again. In my process, Lynn stepped in to support me in a very big way.  On calls, she would say, “Hey. I’ve got you. If you’re lost at sea, I’m going to hold you up. If you’re ready to check out in life, I’m gonna hold you up. If your creativity is suppressed and ready to be in a thriving way, I’m gonna hold you up. If you are ready to be healed or if you can’t find your center, and you know you need healing, I’m still gonna hold you no matter what.”

I am reminded of my gratitude to her, to really take all that time, space and generosity with me. Because now I am able to hold that space musically for other people. Thank you Lynn, for listening, for the space of healing. For the space of transformation, for the space of creativity. For the space of inner child healing and the space of non-judgment.  For the space of resiliency, the space of going against the grain.  Thank you for saying, “Take your time, don’t rush to the destination.  The destination is the heart.”

I wanted to share these words for you to highly consider and recommend Lynn Storm.  I hope these words reach you. I’m blessed to be here and thank you so much Lynn for all the space you’ve held throughout the years. I know whoever will come will be very blessed to be in your presence.

Lynn Storm helped me survive a time of a few months in which I thought I was going to die. It felt horrible to be alive every day and it felt as if I would never get better. I made my living will and last wills. With Lynn’s support…slowly, ever-so-slowly, my nervous system healed. I would not have made it through this time without Lynn and her unstoppable encouragement.

Through my emotional work with Lynn, as well as having her social science contextualizations to help with rational mapping of the brain’s patterns and unconscious responses due to trauma, I have been healing my attachment wounding. This has helped me tremendously, and has been so empowering to witness that my own brain can repattern! I have recently started dating someone after being single for 5 years, and this would not be possible without Lynn and her assistance in helping me heal my attachment wounding.

After this, Lynn has been supporting me professionally with my writing. I wrote a memoir of a very challenging time of my life. Lynn was my writing mentor, she gave me excellent writing advice to support my creative muses. She is an amazing editor as well, helping enhance the imagery and wonder, to turn a story of a difficult time into an inspirational memoir.

I would highly recommend Lynn Storm professionally for writing and artistic support, attachment healing counseling, grief and integration work and nature connection. Thank you, Lynn, for everything you’ve brought to my life. I appreciate you immensely.
